Merengue also has an intriguing connection to documented Spitti genetics through the influential Highland Bertie x Highland Bubbles family, appearing on both sides of her pedigree.  Her maternal grandsire, Rose Creek Prinz Eugen, is a proven Spitti-producing sire, while his full sibling Rose Creek Wilhelm The First appears through Merengue's paternal line, making her pedigree especially interesting in light of the documented Spitti connections within this family.
