LaLa

Purebred Valais Blacknose Ewe

Heartland Bojangles 14/18 × BCL 1/21.

LaLa combines influential Heartland, Highland, Parkdale, and Remarkable bloodlines, with multiple Maximum Points animals represented in her pedigree.  Her sire, Heartland Bojangles, produced Iowa Koala, one of the first Valais Blacknose sheep in the United States to earn Maximum Points and the 2023 Reserve Champion Purebred Ewe.  LaLa also descends directly from Highland Breeze, Maximum Points and Overall Supreme Champion at Blacknose Beauties in both 2016 and 2017, as well as Swiss Maximum Points ram Highland King Kong.

Lala has a distant but noteworthy connection to documented Spitti genetics through her maternal pedigree.  Her lineage traces back through Parkdale Beau and Prendwick Dakota to the influential Prendwick Eros, a Maximum Points Swiss ram associated with documented Spitti descendants.  While this connection does not establish LaLa as a carrier, it adds another interesting dimension to her pedigree.
